Fall Creek in Ithaca, NY

Fall Creek Gorge

One of the most beautiful areas of Ithaca was Fall Creek - the gorge that ran through Cornell and separated north campus from central campus. It was beautiful year round, but especially (in my opinion) in the fall and winter. Unfortunately, I really didn't get as many photographs of it as I should have, but I've put together some of my better ones from my years living in Ithaca.

Fireworks over the East River

At least at one point, Citigroup, the company my dad works for, allowed employees and their families to watch the annual NYC fireworks from the office building high over Queens. This year we made it to my dad's office building and I took some photographs from the 39th floor, with the one to the left coming out the best.

I was walking home from my office tonight when I noticed just how the Caltech buildings looked with the orange spotlights that are around campus. I came back with a tripod and my camera and took these photographs. They might be a bit more orange than in real life, but not by much.

Sunset off Laguna Beach

With my family in town for my birthday, we went down to the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park and, on the way back, stopped at Laguna Beach, where we witnessed a beautiful sunset.
